Scientists from the University of Utah could bring some help to older people, who can not see as good as they did before, when they were young. A prototype eyeglasses which are not very pretty could make progressive lenses obsolete for the people we were talking about.
By using electronically activated lens they can focus automatically and in time on whatever an old man is looking at, despite the distance, whether it is far or close up. The device could eliminate many problems for people`s life because they will not need any more multiple pairs of glasses for reading or driving. Many people are suffering from presbyopia or farsightedness and this device could help them a lot.
